You can improve your handicap at the nearby 36-hole golf club at Zell am See - the biggest golf club in the Austrian Alps and a member of the Leading Golf Courses of Austria. As a result of our partnership with the Zell am See Golf Club, we can offer our guests a 30% discount on their green fees. The club has two 18-hole courses, "Kitzsteinhorn" and "Schmittenhöhe", and there are another three 18-hole courses nearby, the Mittersill, the Urslautal and Brandlhof, not to mention 14 courses within an hour's drive.

Travel information

Zell am See train station is 8 km away (Transfers from and to the train station are available subject to a charge); and Salzburg Airport is 80 km to the north. By car: Take the A 8 motorway, coming from the direction of Nürnberg and Munich, towards Salzburg. Take the exit "Bad Reichenhall" and drive towards Lofer (you will not need to purchase a motorway vignette), drive past Zell am See straight towards Kaprun. A large car park with 140 parking lots is available (subject to a charge), parking lots that are free of charge are located 50 metres from the hotel.

Hotel policies

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled up to 7 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled up to 5 days before date of arrival, 70 percent of all nights will be charged.  If cancelled up to 3 days before date of arrival, 80 percent of all nights will be charged.  If cancelled up to 2 days before date of arrival, 90 percent of all nights will be charged.  If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

No deposit will be charged. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

10 % VAT is included.  Service charge is not applicable.  EUR 1.15 city/tourist tax per person per night is not included. 

Meal Plan

Breakfast is included in the room rate.  Dinner costs EUR 30.00 per person. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 2 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.  All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots.  All children from 3 to 12 years are charged 30 % of the room stay per night and person for extra beds.  All older children or adults are charged 70 % of the room stay per night and person for extra beds.  Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1.
