Hotel Restaurant DermuthOur hotel is situated quietly between the city centre and the beautiful Lake Woerther on the outskirts (Kreuzbergl), only a few minutes drive from the city centre. We dispose of 50 comfortable rooms (80 beds), as well as apartments and suites. The following services are available for our guests FOC: indoor pool, sauna, steam bath, bicycles, during summer access to 3 beach areas at Lake Woerther - only 2 km from hotel - with private cabins and deck chairs.

Food & Beverages

We are widely known for our excellent cuisine. Beef specialities from Carinthian mountain bullock, prepared according to an old hotel recipe, but with the refined touch of modern cuisine. Seasonal specialities such as wellness meals, asparagus, organic vegetables from our own garden, catch of the day fish from Lake Wörthersee, game from our own hunting grounds ensure that we cater to everybody’s taste. Half board available on request (4-course menu of your choice, on saturdays 6-course gourmet menu) available for minimum stay of 3 days.

Area information

Relax in the legendary peace of a lakeside holiday. Enjoy the lake at 3 bathing places by the lake free of charge. They are located near our hotel, on the eastern bay of lake Wörthersee. Distance approx. 2 km. We offer changing cabanas and deck chairs. Why not cycle there with the hotel’s bicycles?

BY CAR: Coming from VIENNA (GRAZ) on the A2 motorway to Klagenfurt - (direction Villach-Italy), leave the motorway at the KLAGENFURT-WEST exit. After 500 m (A2 motorway coming from Villach), take the KLAGENFURT-WÖRTHERSEE (Minimundus-University) exit, then turn left at the 1st traffic light, and left again at the 2nd traffic light; after approx. 500 m you will see our hotel on the left. Coming from ITALY-SALZBURG-VILLACH, leave the motorway at the KLAGENFURT-WÖRTHERSEE (Minimundus-University) exit, then turn left at the 1st traffic light, and left again at the 2nd traffic light; after approx. 800 m you will see our hotel on the left. BY TRAIN: Arriving at KLAGENFURT HAUPTBAHNHOF, you reach our hotel by taxi in about 10 minutes. BY PLANE: From KLAGENFURT-WÖRTHERSEE AIRPORT, you reach our hotel by taxi in about 15 minutes. If you let us know the time of your arrival, we will order a taxi for you at special rates. BUSES Running from our hotel to the city centre and the Wörthersee lake.

Hotel policies

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled up to 18:00 on the date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

No deposit will be charged. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

VAT is included.  Service charge is included.  City/tourist tax is included. 

Meal Plan

Buffet breakfast is included in the room rate. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 5 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.  All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots.  All older children or adults are charged EUR 25.00 per night and person for extra beds.  Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1.
