Hotel BachwirtA three-star hotel situated in a centre of an the old town St. Gilgen, at the feet of the "Zwölfernhorn" (1552 meters above the ground level) – the Salzkammergut ski region. Only 400 meters from the hotel stretches a crystal clear Wolfgangsee lake – named after its patron, Mozart, whose mother was born and lived here. The hotel is run by the Polish family of Wota (owners of the castle in Nowęcin near Łeba). It consists of 27 wonderful rooms overlooking the beautiful mountains and the Zwölfernhorn.

Area information

Salzburg is mostly known as a winter sport centre in Austria. Tourists from all over Europe come here to have a walk along the streets of the old town, which once were walked by Mozart and Doppler. If cancelled up to 3 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged.

No deposit will be charged. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

Children and Extra Bed Policy
