The former coach station and horse stable on the route from Vienna to Trieste, also known as the “City of Trieste”, was renovated and converted into a unique and contemporary 5-star hotel. The old cross-vaulted rooms, which give the building a distinctive flair, were transformed into lounges, suites and meeting rooms. Food & Beverages

Enjoy the hotel's wide range of culinary delicacies, featuring modern interpretations of Italian dishes, particularly from the Friuli and Collio regions. The restaurant is open Monday to Friday from 12:00 to 14:30 and Monday to Saturday from 18:30 to 22:00 (last order). It is closed on Sundays and public holidays.

The hotel is not accessible for disabled people.

Hotel policies

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled or modified up to 1 day before the date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled or modified later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

No deposit will be charged. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

10 % VAT is included.  Service charge is not applicable.  City/tourist tax is included. 

Meal Plan

Buffet breakfast is included in the room rate. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 12 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.  All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots.  All older children or adults are charged EUR 61 per night per person for extra beds.  Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1.
