Scott's,
a meticulously restored 18th century seigniorial townhouse, features 17
luxuriously decorated rooms and suites. Handmade oversized beds, goosedown
pillows, and sumptuous breakfasts served until noon make Scott's one of
the most elegant and comfortable small hotels in the Mediterranean.
"Heaven!" said London's
prestigious Good Hotel Guide. "The most wholly satisfying hotel I've
ever stayed in."
Recently selected as one of the world's 50
greatest hotels by New Yorker reviewer Diran Noubar, Scott's appeals not
just to the royalty and famous folks who frequent the hotel, but also to
anyone seeking unobtrusive luxury, unabashed comfort and warm
service.
The Island of Mallorca in the Balearic
Islands, off the coast of Spain, in the Mediterranean sea, is the number
one tourist destination in Europe. Scott's is located 15 minutes inland
from the Island's capital in the Binissalem wine region, just 30 minutes
from Mallorca's famous beaches.
Nobody
really likes to just read about food, so we won't drone on telling you how
good our restaurant is, how many awards we've won (several, of the
discriminating variety) or how talented Chef Ronny is.
He's actually been cited as The Best Chef in the Universe (though that was
by his mother). We will say that everything we serve is fresh, nothing
bought in, nothing frozen, nothing from a packet. Fresh means bought
today, cooked today.
That's why the menu is short, but delectable. Our wine list, too, is worth
writing home about, wines -- mostly from small family bodegas -- chosen by
Miguel Angel Prieto, Spain's Sommelier of the Year.
