Cancellation policy

If the booking is cancelled more than 2 days before the day of arrival, no charge applies. If the booking is cancelled from 2 days before the day of arrival, the charge will be 100% of the whole stay. In case of a no-show, the charge will be 100% of the whole stay. Each started stay is entirely due to Minotel. Please cancel your reservation online. If your reservation is cancelled in line with Minotel policy - payment will be returned within 5 working days. The hotel reserves the right to pre-authorise credit cards prior to arrival.

Child policy

Minotel offers free accommodation and breakfast for 1 child under 12 years old, when sharing a room with 2 adults. In such a case, the client should book a double or twin room and add a comment in the comment box for an extra bed for a child under 12, and not book a triple room. Two children under 12 travelling with adults (no matter if the adults are staying in a single, double or triple room) will be accommodated in a twin room and pay the price of a double room for single occupancy. Cots are available free of charge, subject to availability. Please enter requests for extra childbeds and/or cots, noting the age of the child, in the comments box when booking.

Area information The Troodos Mountains are fascinating for nature-lovers. You can watch the wild sheep and diverse flora, and marvel at the renowned geology that this area has to offer. Platres itself is a small town and there enough bars and restaurants to offer a small selection. Many visitors arrive at the weekends to enjoy the peace and fresh air of this delightful place. Lemesos Beach (Limassol) (35 km) - A daily taxi service from the hotel can take you to the beach at Limassol. Kykkos Monastery (25km) - 20km west of Pedoulas is the most famous monastery in Cyprus, high in the Troodos mountains.Pick up one of the popular walking trails to see some exquisite sights. Travel information Situated in a secluded corner amidst pine trees, this is an ideal hotel for peace and tranquility. Larnaca Airport is 90 km away and Paphos Airport is 60 km from the hotel. By Car (from Paphos): - Take the B6 road eastbound out of Paphos. - Bear left onto the F612. - Head northeast on local roads, and follow signs for Pano Platres - Pick up the F614 - Stay on this road until you meet the E805 - Turn left into the E802 - After a few kilometres, turn right onto local roads and you will soon arrive in Pano Platres.
