From the balcony of Melantrich House, which once was the home of a publishing company, Václav Havel gave his speeches which initiated the fall of the communist regime in 1989. The building has been completely renovated recently and offers modern, quiet, spacious and well-equipped apartments with kitchens, a 24-h front desk and a fitness and wellness centre. Most of the apartments have a balcony or a terrace and all boast free wireless internet access. You will also find a washing machine and a CD player in the apartments. Hotel policies

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled up to 1 day before the date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

No deposit will be charged. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

9 % VAT is included.  Service charge is not applicable.  EUR 0.60 city/tourist tax per person per night is included. 

Meal Plan

Buffet breakfast costs EUR 7.00 per person. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 3 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.  All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots.  All older children or adults are charged EUR 15.00 per night and person for extra beds.  Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 2.
