U JezeraThe hotel "At the Lake" (U Jezera) is a very quietly situated, Dutch managed, family hotel. The hotel was built in 1970 and was renovated and totally refurbished by the new owners. It lies immediately at the waters edge in the secluded and beautiful natural forests around lake Orlik. Lake Orlik is the middle of three reservoirs on the Vltava River. It lies about one hour south of Prague. For the inhabitants of Prague it is one of the most important summer holiday resorts. Above the hotel rise steep, wooded slopes.

Rooms

Inside the hotel you will find 20 mostly spacious rooms for two or three persons and five two room suites. The majority have (partial) view of the lake.

Food & Beverages

In the restaurant, besides some international dishes, you can order typical Czech meals. The wine-list consists not only of Czech wines, but also of several French wines. If you have taken half board, there is a daily choice of three menus: entree or soup, main dish and desert of coffee.

Travel information

Leaving Prague direction "Strakonice" on the highway no. 4, you leave this highway after Milin at the exit "Orlicka prehrada", going to the left. You continue over the dam and pass the village Hrebeny. Leaving this village behind, you immediately turn to the right, exit "Klenovice". You will pass Klenovice on your left sight, drive through the village of "Koubalova Lhota" and keep twice to the right at crossroads, till you reach the village of Klucenice. Entering the village you turn to the right into the mainstreet, where you will see a church on your left hand and the sign of our hotel on your right hand, directing you straight forward, instead of following the road to the left after the church. You leave the village behind and drive through a forest for some 3 miles, following the (narrow) bitumen road till you see the sign of the hotel on your leftside, directing you to the left, downhill to the water, where you find the hotel.
