Cancellation policy

If the booking is cancelled more than 2 days before the day of arrival, no charge applies. If the booking is cancelled from 2 days before the day of arrival on, the charge will be 100% of the whole stay. In case you would not arrive at the hotel, the charge will be 100% of the whole stay. Each started stay is entirely due to Minotel. The hotel reserves the right to pre-authorise credit cards prior to arrival.

Child policy

Minotel offers free accommodation and breakfast for 1 child under 12 years old when sharing a room with 2 adults; other meals are to be paid at the hotel directly. In such a case, the client shall book a double or twin room and add a comment in the "comment box" for an extra bed for a child under 12, and not book a triple room. Two children under 12 travelling with adults (no matter if the adults are staying in a single, double or triple room) will be accommodated in a twin room and pay the price of a double room for single occupancy.

The Park Hotel has an international restaurant, with an exciting choice of dishes. The restaurants walls are covered with works of art and the guest can relax in a comfortable, yet refined ambience. There is a cosy bar where the guest can enjoy a drink before dinner and an Irish coffee after dessert! The hotel also has a garden that is open for light snacks and lunches in summer (15.05 - 01.09).

All reservations must be guaranteed with a major credit card. Rates are per room per night including continental breakfast and vat (and local taxes) at the current rate. Full payment will be taken by Minotel, using your selected payment, within 24 hours of booking. Only extra charges must be paid prior to departure from the Hotel. Cancellations: please cancel your reservation online. If your reservation is cancelled in line with Minotel policy - payment will be returned within 5 working days. To amend your reservation please cancel and rebook. Cancellation charges apply. To extend your stay, simply make a new booking for the additional night(s). Children under 12 years old stay free on the basis of one child per room sharing with two adult/s. Cots are available free of charge, subject to availability. Please enter requests for extra childbeds and/or cots, noting the age of the child, in the comments box when booking. Area information

Alborg lies at the centre of North Jytland, by the Limfjord. It is Denmarks fourth largest city. Most of Aalborg is dated from very old times, but it is constantly changing, whilst keeping its old style. It is within half an hours drive from lovely, sandy beaches, and 75 minutes from the tip of Jutland, Skagen. There are many attractions in Alborg. There are streets lined with shops, boutiques as well as well known department stores. There are numerous historic buildings to be admired. For children, there is a zoo, and a Tivoli, with wonderful gardens. For adults, there are many nightspots, especially in the famous street 'Jomfru Ane Gade'.

The Park Hotel is located in the centre of Alborg, only 5 minutes walk to the pedestrian area. Very close connections to rail and bus services (200m). Only 5 minutes walk to the congress centre, theatres and cinemas and 10 minutes to most restaurants. From the Motorway: Choose exit Alborg C, Junction 27, continue until Tivoli is sighted on the opposite right side. At that Junction, turn left, and continue until the Railway Station, the Park Hotel is situated opposite the Railway Station.
