The City Hotel Portus has 107 cosy rooms on four floors, including 12 rooms with sofas which, if needed, can be used as extra beds; and seven rooms with connecting door. In addition to the listed facilities all the rooms feature direct call telephones and cork floors. Most hotel rooms are equipped with an air- conditioner. The hotel also has rooms for the disabled, for non-smokers and for those with allergies.

On the 1st floor of City Hotel Portus, you will find the cosy Café Retro which seats 80 and has a unique interior. Those who appreciate simple and delicious cooking served in a relaxed atmosphere will enjoy the lunch and dinner dishes at the café. The timeless and cheerful styles of rock and retro dominate in the interior decoration and in the choice of music at the café, located in Tallinn city centre. In the summer, guests can also enjoy their coffee and pastries out on a terrace. In the morning, Café Retro serves hotel guests a delicious buffet breakfast. On weekdays, be sure to ask for the affordable lunch menu popular for its dishes which are inspired by Estonian cuisine.

Hotel policies

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled up to 18:00 on the date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled or modified later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

No deposit will be charged. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

9 % VAT is included.  Service charge is not applicable.  City/tourist tax is included. 

Meal Plan

Buffet breakfast is included in the room rate. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 12 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.  All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots.  All older children or adults are charged EUR 22.40 per night per person for extra beds.  Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1.
