Le Village Arc 1950Village Arc 1950 is a 4-star residence part of Intrawest Resorts & Residences and is located in the ski area of Paradiski (Les Arcs-La Plagne) between the Vanoise National Park and the Mont Blanc massif. For the peace of all, the Village is entirely pedestrian (vehicle-free) and offers a festival of outdoor activities all year round such as The Constellations Outdoor, an all inclusive package offering visitors to Arc 1950 a host of free activities. Also, a coach service is available to help guests organise their week and there is also a useful guide in which they will find plenty of advice, walking plans and even well-being centres. Residences can be accessed directly via the underground car park. This typically European village features indoor and outdoor jacuzzis, swimming pools on the edge of the winter ski slopes and summer's rolling hills. Stroll along the traditional and animated village squares and a long passage lined with restaurants, cafés and boutiques. The traditional architecture of the Village is in absolute harmony with its environment.

Rooms

All apartments include a kitchenette (a hob with 4 rings, refrigerator, extractor, and dishwasher), a bathroom with hairdryer, separate WC (except in some 2-room apartments), satellite TV, direct dial telephone, safe, and a balcony or terrace with garden furniture. Some have their own fireplace (on request with a supplement). Beds are made upon arrival. Please note that cleaning will be provided upon departure with the exception of the kitchenette.

Travel information

By Plane: Located in the heart of the Savoie part of France, Arc 1950 Le Village is close to the airports of Geneva, Lyon, Chambéry, Grenoble and Annecy. By Rail: You can take the train as far as Bourg St Maurice, approximately 30 minutes by car from the Village (direct high-speed trains from Paris, Lille, Nantes and Barcelona). To go from Bourg St Maurice to Arc 1600, you can take the funicular railway from behind the railway station. Departures are every 30 minutes from 8:30 am to 7:30 pm (free if you have ski pass of Paradiski/Les Arcs). Free shuttle buses travel between the different sites in Les Arcs (Arc 1600, Arc 1800, Arc 1950 and Arc 2000) with regular departures from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm from Sunday to Thursday and from 8:00 am to 9:00 pm Friday and Saturday.

Hotel policies

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled up to 30 days before date of arrival, a fixed amount of EUR 30.00 will be charged.  If cancelled up to 15 days before date of arrival, 50 percent of all nights will be charged.  If cancelled up to 1 day before date of arrival, the total price of the reservation will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

50 percent of the total amount will be charged on the day of booking and is refundable. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

5.5 % VAT is included.  Service charge is not applicable.  EUR 1.50 city/tourist tax per person per night is not included. 

Meal Plan

Buffet breakfast costs EUR 15.00 per person. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 12 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.  All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots.  Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1.
