Le Clos D'amboiseOur private hotel was built in the 16th century for a clergyman of the Royal Court. It has been redesigned in the 18th and 19th century and offers a French-style landscaped park of 3,000m². The park includes many rare species, in particular two unique centennial magnolias, a huge sycamore and, sitting imposingly and overlooking the park, a Lebanon cedar that witnessed, without a doubt, the French Revolution of 1789. Open the gates of Le Clos d'Amboise and become our Special Guest. Our house and grounds are open to you; our tranquil park is an oasis of calm in the heart of the Old Town, providing an immediate sense of relaxation and serenity. The copious and varied buffet breakfast is served in the Rabelais lounge in a friendly atmosphere. The lounge is decorated with ancient woodwork and a unique Versailles wooden floor dating back from the 17th century.

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled up to 2 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged.

Meal Plan

Breakfast is not included and costs EUR 11.00 per person.  Breakfast costs EUR 6.00 per child under 10 years. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 3 years are charged EUR 15.00 per night for cots.  All older children or adults are charged EUR 20.00 per night and person for extra beds.  Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1.
