Each room presents a unique décor and they all feature a desk, wardrobe, luggage rack, and satellite TV. They look out onto the courtyard or Rue de Comines. If your room does not feature a hairdryer, you can borrow one form the reception.

Hotel details

The hotel features free luggage storage, a lounge area with free magazines, tourist information and city maps at the 24-hour reception, and Le Monde newspaper. Attentive staff will try their best to help you make the most of your stay. As Le Grand Hôtel is situated right outside the old Lille, in a semi-pedestrianised street, you cannot park in front of the hotel. Parking is available at the back, Place des Reignau.

Food & Beverages

The continental breakfast is served in the breakfast room or in your room. It is made up of baguette, French pastries, coffee, tea, chocolate, orange juice, apple compote, yogurts, butter and jam. Mineral and sparkling water, sodas, Leffe beers, coffee and herbal teas are available at the reception. With the pedestrianised district within walking distance, Le Grand Hôtel is near numerous restaurants and local brasseries.

The hotel does not accept payment by bank checks. Only Euro Travellers Cheque and Cheque Vacances are accepted at the hotel.

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled up to 1 day before the date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

No deposit will be charged. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

5.5 % VAT is included.  Service charge is not applicable.  EUR 0.90 city/tourist tax per person per night is not included. 

Meal Plan

Continental breakfast costs EUR 6.50 per person. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 11 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.  All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots.  There is no capacity for extra beds in the room.  Maximum capacity of babycots in a room is 1.
