Le Pigonnet

The hotel is an 18th-century mansion situated just 800 metres from the centre of Aix-en-Provence, in the heart of a beautiful 2-acre garden planted with flowers and chestnut trees. This elegant, stone bastide combines 18th century décor with touches of Provencal chic to provide a serene and luxurious experience. The rooms have been carefully decorated in a typical Provencal style and offer a warm and charming atmosphere. Some overlook the garden and Sainte Victoire Mountain from a balcony or terrace. All of the guestrooms are comfortably furnished and well-equipped with modern en suite facilities. Wi-Fi internet access is available in the rooms and is free of charge. Le Pigonnet features a gourmet restaurant, Le Riviera that serves delicious regional cuisine inspired by Provence. During the summer months, the restaurant offers guests outdoor dining on the open terrace. There is also an outdoor heated swimming-pool open from March to September, a fitness room and a hammam.

The hotel’s Le Riviera restaurant has gained a reputation for its blend of traditional French cuisine and the regional delights of Provence. The elegant, Italian-styled dining room seats 80 and when the weather is fine, there’s no better place to dine than on the hotel’s terrace under a canopy of chestnut trees.

Annual closure of restaurant: Saturday afternoons and all day on Sunday from 18 October 2009 until 31 March 2010.

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled up to 2 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged.

Deposit Policy

No deposit will be charged.

VAT and city/tourist taxes

5.5 % VAT is included. Service charge is not applicable. EUR 1.35 city/tourist tax per person per night is not included.

Meal Plan

Breakfast costs EUR 21.00 per person.

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome. All children under 12 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding. All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots. All older children or adults are charged EUR 45.00 per night and person for extra beds. Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1.
