Cancellation policy

If the booking is cancelled more than 2 days before the day of arrival, no charge applies. If the booking is cancelled from 2 days before the day of arrival on, the charge will be 100% of the whole stay. In case you would not arrive at the hotel, the charge will be 100% of the whole stay. Each started stay is entirely due to Minotel. The hotel reserves the right to pre-authorise credit cards prior to arrival.

Child policy

Minotel offers free accommodation and breakfast for 1 child under 12 years old when sharing a room with 2 adults; other meals are to be paid at the hotel directly. In such a case, the client shall book a double or twin room and add a comment in the "comment box" for an extra bed for a child under 12, and not book a triple room. Two children under 12 travelling with adults (no matter if the adults are staying in a single, double or triple room) will be accommodated in a twin room and pay the price of a double room for single occupancy.

Distance from airport: Caen-Carpiquet 11 km / Paris-CDG 255 km Distance from railway station: Caen 800 m Minotel Le Savoy is centrally located, only 800 m away from the railway station of Caen . You can park your car either in "Rue de Falaise" or in the hotel’s private parking. By car : From highway A13 take the ring road “sud” in the direction of Alençon and then exit no. 13 in the direction of Caen. You will find the hotel 3,5 km after this exit on your left. By train : At the Caen railway station take bus line no. 6 in the direction of Caen-Poincarré and get off at the “Falaise” stop. From the Caen-Carpiquet airport : Take bus line no. 1 at the “Carpiquet Triage” stop, direction of Mondeville 2-centre commercial. Get off at the “Gare SNCF” stop and change to bus line no. 6 in the direction of Caen-Poincarré. Get off at the “Falaise” stop. It takes about 40 minutes to get from the airport to the hotel. From the hotel towards Port-d’Ouistreham: Leave Caen near Hérouville-Saint-Clair and take the D515 in the direction of Ouistreham-Car Ferry (about 15 km).
