The leisure centre is comprised of a 17 metre swimming pool, therapy clinic, massage rooms, steam room and state-of-the-art gymnasium. Equestrian activities are a speciality in Adare with hunting, cross country riding and trekking available. Golfers can enjoy 2 superb 18 hole golf courses and championship courses at Ballybunion, Lahinch, Killarney and Tralee, all within easy reach. Fishing, archery, shooting and walking are also arranged by the hotel.

The Maigue Restaurant - Celebrated Dunraven hospitality extends to the Maigue Restaurant, where its classic Irish cuisine with a contemporary twist has earned it many awards. These include 3 AA Red Rosettes. Private dinners can be accommodated in our Red Room or Adare Suite. The Hunters Bar - Solid oak panelling and leather banquette seating give an old club feel to this famous bar.

Area information

Adare is the ideal base to explore many wonderful sights and famous landmarks. You could take a day trip to Bunratty Castle, the Burren and the Cliffs of Moher. We will even provide a picnic lunch. Head south towards Blarney Castle and Cork city and harbour. Spend the day in Killarney and the wonderful Muckross Park and still be back in time for supper.

By Car: - The hotel is located on the N21 between Rathkeale and Patrickswell on the Limerick side of Adare village.

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled up to 2 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

No deposit will be charged. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

13.5 % VAT is included.  Service charge is not applicable.  City/tourist tax is not applicable. 

Meal Plan

Breakfast is included in the room rate. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 2 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.  All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots.  All older children or adults are charged EUR 30 per night per person for extra beds.  Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1.
