Cabra Castle HotelCabra Castle Hotel is located in King's Court, a beautiful part of Ulster. Cabra Castle dates back to 1760 and its history is apparent in its grand staircases and elegant hallways. There are 80 historical and richly designed bedrooms in the hotel and we also offer conference facilities that can cater for up to 200 delegates. Guests can dine in our wonderful restaurant, or have a snack in the Derby Bar, which provides entertainment on some nights. The restaurant is open every day for breakfast and dinner, and open at lunchtime on Sundays.

Area information

Take time out and play a round of golf on the castle’s own 9-hole golf course with stunning views. Golf is complimentary to residents and clubs are available for hire at reception. See the countryside from a different perspective when riding a horse. We cater for beginners, as well as the more experienced rider. Dun A Ri forest park is situated off the Kingscourt Carrickmacross road.

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled up to 2 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

No deposit will be charged. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

21.5 % VAT is included.  Service charge is not applicable.  City/tourist tax is not applicable. 

Meal Plan

Full English breakfast is included in the room rate. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 2 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.  All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots.  All older children or adults are charged EUR 30.00 per night and person for extra beds.  There is no capacity for extra beds in the room.  Maximum capacity of babycots in a room is 1.
