Hotel details

The 2 golf courses have been designed by famous golfers, Colin Montgomerie and Mark OMeara. Carton House was awarded the title of European Golf Resort of the Year in 2008. An abundance of activities are offered: golf, fishing, walks, clay-pigeon shooting, off-road driving, mountain biking - all with expert help and tuition. In addition to the spa, Carton House offers an 18-metre pool, a Jacuzzi, a childrens pool, a sauna, a steam room and luxurious changing facilities. There is also a juice bar, and Precor cardiovascular equipment with individual entertainment system.

Food & Beverages

Carton Houses philosophy is simple food cooked tastefully, presented well and at great value for money. The Linden Tree restaurant is a beautiful setting with cushioned walls, walnut panelling, marble floors, cream leather seats and 3 massive bay windows. The Kitchen Bar is located in the original kitchen wing of Carton House. It also includes a very unique snug. Following a day on the golf course, enjoy a hearty meal in the clubhouse, situated in the beautifully converted old stable block.

Travel information

14 miles west of Dublin City Centre 30 minutes drive from Dublin International Airport From Dublin, take the main N4 motorway westbound. From the motorway, take the Leixlip West exit and follow the signs to Carton House. Carton House is approximately a five minute drive from the N4 motorway exit. From the west, take the N4 motorway to Dublin and approximately 20km from Dublin city, take the Maynooth exit and follow the signs to Carton House. Carton House is approximately a five minute drive from the N4 motorway exit.

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled up to 2 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

No deposit will be charged. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

21.5 % VAT is included.  Service charge is not applicable.  City/tourist tax is not applicable. 

Meal Plan

Buffet breakfast is included in the room rate. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 12 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.  All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots.  All older children or adults stay free of charge for extra beds.  Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1.
