Gearagh (7 km) - It is a unique and ancient oak forest, the only extensive alluvial forest in Ireland or Britain, and probably in Western Europe. The rich ecology makes it home to many rare species of flora and fauna and is a naturalist's dream.
Blarney Castle (25 km) - While visiting, you may want to kiss the Blarney Stone. The castle was built around 1446 on a solid limestone mound. Walk the grounds to see a druid circle made of stones, explore the witches stove, or enter Blarney's dungeon.
