The hotel also offers you an additional 2 stylish conference suites, with 3 syndicate rooms to accommodate 2-1,200 delegates in The Cranaghan Suite, the hotel's state of the art conference centre. The highly acclaimed 18 hole championship golf course is sensitively wrapped around the lakes and the drumlins of the County Cavan landscape. The course presents a wonderful challenge and the devilishly tricky greens present a searching examination of accurate approach play, which adds to the enjoyment factor. With the development of the Golf Academy, golfers can now look forward to improving their game under the guidance of the resort's PGA professionals. The Slieve Russell has hosted some major Irish PGA Tournaments. These have included the Irish PGA Championship in 1996 and also the Quinn Direct PGA Charity Pro-Am, which has been held since 1997 is now an annual event. The Slieve Russell has also played host to European Tour events such as the North West of Ireland Open in 2001 and 2002. You can enjoy a relaxing spa break in the Ciúin Spa & Wellness Centre. The Conall Cearnach Restaurant has established itself as one of the finest restaurants in both Cavan and the North West Region. Under the stewardship of Peter Denny, one of the country’s leading chefs, the restaurant has received many coveted awards, including an AA Rosette. The Setanta Restaurant’s abundance of natural light washes over innovative design features such as Italian marble floors, leather finishes and cool wooden tables and panelling. It would be safe to say it is one of the most vibrant and modern restaurants in Cavan. The menu has a selection of exquisite modern European flavours and the high standard of culinary craftsmanship is reflected in the superb selection of creative menus and charming wines. You can also choose a light meal alternative in the Summit Restaurant & Bar, enjoying magnificent views overlooking the championship golf course. The Kells Bar has been specially designed to incorporate some of the magnificent illustrations of the internationally famous Book of Kells, a reproduction of which is on display at the entrance of this friendly bar.

Pre-booking is necessary for all spa and golf reservations. Dinner must be pre-booked on Friday and Saturday nights.
