Food & Beverages

Stir Restaurant offers light, modern cuisine, prepared using the freshest ingredients. Menus feature plenty of healthy eating options and a range of seafood and vegetarian dishes. The atmosphere is casual and friendly and with Bells Bar across the foyer you don't even have to leave the building for a terrific night out. An extensive breakfast buffet of hot and cold options is served Monday – Friday from 07:00 – 10:30 and Saturday and Sunday from 08:00 – 11:00. À la carte menus, 'early bird' dinner menus and buffet party menus are also available.

There is limited free parking available. Paid parking outside the hotel operates from Monday to Saturday 08:30-18:30, Sundays and Bank Holidays are free. Carroll’s Quay multi-story car park is nearby and hotel guests receive discounted rates.

Travel information

When travelling from Cork Airport (ork) the approximate driving time is 15 minutes and distance is 4.9 miles or 8 km. Driving directions from Cork Airport: Follow signs for the city center. Once approaching center, follow routes for Limerick (n20) and Cork Opera House. Then cross the bridge from the Opera House and take the 1st left at the traffic lights, continue up the hill for 200 yards and the hotel is on the left on John Redmond Street. When traveling from Dublin, Waterford or Rosslare, Follow the Cork City Centre signs into the Dunkettle Roundabout (Ibis Hotel). Continue your journey following the City Centre to the 2nd Roundabout at Glanmire. Take 1st Left at this roundabout and you are now on the dual carriageway and pass by Silverspings Moran Hotel. Follow the one way system and pass three sets of traffic lights and the fourth set of lights drive straight through and then take an immediate right up John Redmond Street where the hotel is located 200metres up on the left.

Hotel policies

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled up to 2 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled later, the first night will be charged.  In case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

No deposit will be charged. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

13.5 % VAT is included.  Service charge is not applicable.  City/tourist tax is not applicable. 

Meal Plan

Breakfast costs EUR 9.50 per person per night. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 13 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.  There is no capacity for extra beds in the room.
