The hotel is situated in Howth Castle Demesne home to the famous Rhododendron Gardens which are a spectacular sight when in flower during late April, May and June.

Deer Park has 75 bedrooms, all ensuite with TV, telephone, fridge and tea/coffee making facilites. Most rooms have superb views overlooking the coastline and/or the golf courses. Single, twin, double and some family rooms are available. Rooms are situated on the ground floor and first floor - no lift is available so please specify if you prefer ground floor accommodation.

Deer Park has its own restaurant offering a frequently changing menu complimented by an extensive wine list. The menu choice includes fresh fish from the local Howth harbour. Our Bistro serves light snacks throughout the day and bar food is also available in our main bar which has magnificent views over the golf courses and Dublin Bay.

Additional Costs: Spa Treatments are available at an extra cost and should be booked in advance to save disappointment. Residents may reserve tee-off times for golf in advance.

Area information

Deer Park is just nine miles from Dublin City Centre and about 20 minutes from Dublin Airport. From the hotel, a walk of approx. 15 to 20 minutes will take you into the picturesque fishing village of Howth where you will find numerous restaurants and pubs. You can watch the fishermen landing their catch and watch as the resident seal family are fed each day. During the summer months boat trips are available to nearby Irelands Eye. On Sunday mornings a trip to the local market is very worthwhile.There are many lovely walks which one can take around the peninsula.

Travel information

By Car: - Follow the M1 to Coolock. - Turn left and head towards the seafront for about 3 miles. - When you come to the front road, turn left and head out towards Howth. - Go straight through Sutton Cross and head towards Howth Dart Station. - Deer Park is clearly marked from there.
