Situated merely 10 minutes north of Dublin Airport and 20 minutes from the city centre, the Waterside House Hotel offers the ideal golfing holiday or simply a relaxing getaway (easy access to city centre by local train or bus service). Our newly refurbished bedrooms benefit from breath taking views of Lambay Island and Howth Head or the lush fairways of the Corballis Golf Links. Each room offers en suite facilities, power showers, direct dial telephones and hair dryers. Breakfast is served from 6.30am. For earlier departures, breakfast can be arranged with prior notice. Lunch and dinner are served from 12 noon until 10pm each day.

Along with its sister restaurant, The Signal at The Station House Hotel, Kilmessan, Co Meath, excellent dining at The Waterside House is evidenced by The Signal Restaurants affiliation with Feile Bia and by its award winning status. Our executive chef and his team take pride in the standard and variety of the dishes on offer, from traditional to sophisticated. That pride is mirrored in a wine list selected with similar expertise. The Signal Restaurant is open 7 days, for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The Tower Bar & Bistro, overlooking the crashing waves of the Irish Sea, Lambay Island, Howth Head, Ireland's Eye & Malahide Harbour, serves Bar/Bistro food daily. Live music plays every weekend on Fridays and Saturdays.

Travel information

From Dublin Airport take the m1 Motorway to Belfast. You will then arrive at a roundabout with signs for Donabate. Follow the sign to Donabate and go straight into Donabate village. As you arrive into the village you will see a sign for the beach and The Waterside Hotel on the right hand side. Go straight down towards the beach and past the Donabate Golf Club, you will see the Hotel on the left hand side. Taxi's cost approx 20.00 from Airport.

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled up to 2 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

No deposit will be charged. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

VAT is included.  Service charge is included.  City/tourist tax is not applicable. 

Meal Plan

Continental breakfast is not included and costs EUR 9.95 per person.  Full English breakfast is not included and costs EUR 11.95 per person.  Breakfast is not included and costs EUR 11.95 per person. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 11 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.  All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots.  All older children or adults stay free of charge for extra beds.  Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1.
