The medieval city Vianda is surrounded by ancient city walls and towers. The renovated castle, which is the biggest and main castle in the Ardennes and the Eifel, as well as the medieval church with its cloister are notable sights. Stroll through the nature reserve 'Ourdall' and enjoy the magnificent views that inspired the famous French poet Victor Hugo.
Take the chairlift up to 440 m altitude and walk to the most beautiful and biggest high rope course of Luxembourg - 'Indian Forest'. In addition the hotel recommends a visit to the hydroelectric power plant with its massively huge turbines or a day trip to Echternach, the 'little Switzerland of Luxembourg' (30 min), Luxembourg City (45 min) or Trier (1 h).
Vianden (located on many motorcycle routes) and the surrounding area are an Eldorado for bikers.

Exit 18 in direction of Marché-en-Famenne via N4 to Bastogne. N84/N15 Ettelbrück - Diekirch - Vianden.
From Maastricht - A2 Luik (Liège):
Before Luik turn on E40 in direction of Verviers/Aachen via E42. Verviers E42 in direction of St.Vith.
Exit 15 in direction of Luxembourg.
E421/N62 Wemperhaardt - turn left at border N421/N7.
Weiswampach - Hosingen - Vianden.
Down the village at the end of the main street you will find Hotel Berg en Dal, next to the parking 'De la Gare' with a large terrace and waterfountain.
