The hotel has a cosy gastronomic restaurant with an open fireplace. The terrace is very calm and has a children's playground and a barbecue in the summertime. New since 2004, the romantic Esmeralda restaurant with a view on the river. This is the best known kitchen in the area with regional specialities cooked by the skilled chef. The restaurant looks forward to welcoming you. As a guest of the hotel you will receive a 10% discount in the restaurant.

Situated between Echternach (30 km) and Clervaux (28 km), Vianden is the perfect place from where to take a trip to Luxemburg-City (45 km, old town with town wall), to the Moselle (50 km, visit of wine cellars & butterfly garden), Trier (65 km, old roman town 2000 years). Take a bike tour to Echternach along little Switzerland. Touringbikes are available in our hotel.

Enjoy the many walking routes in the forest directly around Vianden, or visit the heated swimming pool and its slides and children's pool. There are also many mountain bike routes and possibilities for canoeing. On request the hotel can organise mountain bike tours of the local area.
