On visiting Monopol hotel not only can you relax in the comfortable interiors but enjoy excellent courses served in our two restaurants where menu changes together with seasons of the year as well. In the spring you can try fresh vegetables, in the summer asparagus and artichoke. In the fall and winter we offer venison, mushrooms and forest fruit. You can also enjoy our great coffee and delicious Home-Made desserts in the Cafe-Shop. For shopping we invite you to our boutique passage and to wine shop where you can find wide range of italian wines.

Travel information

The hotel is located in Katowice city centre, ul. Dworcowa, in front of the old train station. By Car: - From Krakow and Wroclaw, take the A4 motorway and from Warsaw the E75 motorway. - From the roundabout take Korfantego Street and go straight ahead. - At the second traffic lights head down Mickiewicza. - Then at the first crossing turn left into Słowackiego and turn left again. - After the crossing, you will find the hotel on the left-hand side. By Taxi: From Pyrzowice airport approximately 35 km away, we recommend that you book a taxi through the hotel upon reservation, at an additional cost of approximately 150 PLN to be paid at the reception on check-out. We recommend the same from Balice airport which is approximately 45 km away, except that the taxi costs approximately 290 PLN.

Hotel policies

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled up to 1 day before the date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

No deposit will be charged. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

VAT is included.  Service charge is included.  City/tourist tax is not applicable. 

Meal Plan

Buffet breakfast is included in the room rate. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 12 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.  All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots.  All older children or adults are charged EUR 30.00 per night and person for extra beds.  Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1.
