Leba is a small village with fishing harbour at the river estuary. The city is situated east of Slowinski National Park, which is famous for it's mighty sand dunes. There are also nice lakes in the nature reserve. During the Second World War the dunes were a training ground for the Africa Corps before their deployment in Africa. The Germans also tested their V1 and V2 rockets here. You can still see the ruins of their shooting range facilities and launching pads.
Leba is famous among toursists, who can find many attractions here. This place is ideal for sporting esp. windserfing and horse riding.
Leba has an excellent touristic infrastructure. There are a lot of pubs, discotheques and entertainment places in town. Numerous hotels make this place very interesting for tourists – every summer thousends of them are coming to the city.
For your stay we can recommend Soplica castle, which is situated in the castle (Nowecin). This hotel is over 500 years old and everybody can feel very nice here enjoying a fine service and the good atmosphere within the hotel.
