Rooms

The accommodation consists of comfortable and functional rooms. The attention we have paid to detail even extends to the provision of a floor with rooms for women only. We offer non-smoking rooms and also rooms for disabled guests are available. In addition to the listed facilities the rooms are equipped with double glazing windows.

Hotel details

Located at the main entry of the city (next to the Arrábida Bridge), HF Ipanema Porto is surrounded by shopping centers, cinemas, theatres, «Casa da Musica», and very nearby the sport center «Pavilhão Rosa Mota». Only 10 minutes away lies the historical center, S. Bento train station and the Port Wine Cellars. With a lot of tradition in the city, HF Ipanema Porto was recently refurbished and redecorated in order to provide the environment, the comfort and the functionality of the modern times.

Food & Beverages

Next to the lobby you can find the aptly-named “Meeting Point” bar, where and drinks and snacks are served, and the "Rios" Restaurant, for breakfast, lunch and dinner meals. Our “Rios” restaurant is specialised in traditional local food, although it also offers international cuisine. It can cater for up to 100 people and has a large outside esplanade.

Internet

Wireless internet is available in public areas and is free of charge.  Wireless internet is available in some hotel rooms and costs EUR 5.00 per hour. 

Parking

Private parking is possible on site and costs EUR 9.00 per day.

Pets are not allowed.

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled up to 1 day before the date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

No deposit will be charged. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

5 % VAT is included.  Service charge is not applicable.  City/tourist tax is not applicable. 

Meal Plan

Buffet breakfast is included in the room rate. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  One child under 8 years stays free of charge when using existing bedding.  One child under 2 years stays free of charge in a baby cot.  One older child or adult is charged EUR 24.00 per night and person in an extra bed.  One child from 8 to 12 years is charged EUR 12.00 per night and person in an extra bed.  Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1.
