Area information

Aveiro is unique for its canals, and is often called "The Venice of Portugal". The area around and Aveiro is known for its "Art Noveau" architecture, featured throughout Aveiro (including the breakfast room from the hotel), Ílhavo and Albergaria-a-Velha. In Costa Nova, you can find the typical houses of the fishermen and in Ílhavo, you have the historical tiling and porcelain factory "Vista Alegre". Additionally, in Barra, you can see one of the tallest lighthouses in the world.

Hotel policies

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled up to 2 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

No deposit will be charged. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

6 % VAT is included.  Service charge is not applicable.  City/tourist tax is not applicable. 

Meal Plan

Buffet breakfast is included in the room rate. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 3 years stay free of charge for cots.  All children from 4 to 10 years are charged EUR 15 per night per person for extra beds.  One older child or adult is charged EUR 30 per night and person in an extra bed.  Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1.
