Hotel Solar PalmeirasThe ancient Manor House in which Hotel Solar Palmeiras is located, was designed in 1899. Turned into a hotel in 1994, it nowadays offers 34 suites, composed of a bedroom, a sitting room with a sofa bed, a fully equipped bathroom with a hairdryer, air-conditioning, cable TV, direct dial telephone, a safety deposit box (for free). Hotel offers the restaurant "La Cocagne" with an à la carte service. The restaurant has a beautiful view over the river. Our breakfast buffet is served in the restaurant, and the hotel also disposes of a bar, an outdoor swimming pool, a garden and a terrace with bar service.

The hotel has a restaurant, "La Cocagne", which is well known for its marvellous cuisine. This restaurant, small and quiet, with views on the river and the sea, is the place where you can enjoy a delicious dinner, away from the crowd, with every comfort and a high level of quality. Our breakfast buffet is served in the restaurant daily.

Travel information

If you come by airplane, you can take a taxi at the airport. It is fast and easy and will cost between € 20 and € 25. If you come by car, you should take the highway A5, in the direction of Cascais, and turn to "Marginal" - the seaside road to Cascais. The hotel is at your right, in front of a yellow fortress, close to the traffic lights.

Hotel policies

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled up to 1 day before the date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

No deposit will be charged. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

6 % VAT is included.  Service charge is not applicable.  City/tourist tax is included. 

Meal Plan

Buffet breakfast is included in the room rate. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 3 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.  All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots.  All children from 4 to 14 years are charged EUR 12.50 per night per person for extra beds.  All older children or adults are charged EUR 25 per night per person for extra beds.  Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 2.
