Experience a memorable candlelit dinner in a beautiful and relaxed setting with friendly and attentive service. Two intimate dining rooms feature intimate alcoves and a traditional eucalyptus pole and cane ceiling. In the cooler months, open log fires provide a warm welcome in the bar, restaurant and lounge. During the warmer months, dine on the beautiful restaurant terrace with its gentle trickling fountain and double pergola with flowering hanging baskets. Admire the views of the the lakes and waterfalls, surrounded by palm trees, bougainvillea, oleander and honeysuckle.

Travel information

By Car (from the airport): - Follow the road straight on and follow the sign for S. Bras de Alportel, which leads via Estoi. - After about 4 minutes, take the last exit for S. Bras de Alportel. This will lead you onto the road from Faro town northbound. - Drive straight on for about 6 minutes, going through 2 sets of traffic lights, until you reach the sign reading S. Bras de Alportel / Estoi and turn right. - Keep following the signs for Estoi / Olhao. - Estoi is basically one main street. At the top of the high street, take a sharp right and then immediately a sharp left. - As you do this, you will see yellow signs reading ‘To Monte do Casal Restaurant’. - Go to the end of the one-way street and by the school on your right-hand side, take a left onto Moncarapacho Road, where there is another sign, which reads ‘Monte do Casal Restaurant 2,800 metres’. The hotel is approximately 5 minutes (2.8 km) along this road on the left.

Cancellation Policy

Please note, if cancelled, the total price of the reservation will be charged.  In case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

The total price of the reservation will be charged on the day of booking and is non-refundable. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

6 % VAT is included.  Service charge is not applicable.  City/tourist tax is not applicable. 

Meal Plan

Continental breakfast is included in the room rate. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 6 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.  All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots.  All older children or adults are charged EUR 90 per night per person for extra beds.  Maximum capacity of extra beds in a room is 2.  Maximum capacity of babycots in a room is 1.
