Reservation Conditions

Reservations made through our own reservation services

1. The reservation conditions are also applicable for our linked  websites as,,,,,, etc.

2. All the websites are managed by ARAKEA bvba, a travel agency who is licenced in Belgium.

3. Reservations made in through our own pages need never to be prepaid. Credit cards are requested to make sure the guest will show up after making reservations. Credit card details are forwarded to the reserved hotels who will never charge the credit card before arrival, unless otherwise stated in the confirmation Email.

4. Normal cancellation conditions are 1 night charge if the reservation is cancelled less than 48 hours before arrival. If an individual hotel has other cancellation conditions, they will appear on the hotels web page or will be informed before sending the credit card information to secure the rooms.
After making a cancellation in the clients control panel, a written confirmation (Email from hotels-europe) must be received to confirm your cancellation, otherwise the cancellation is not valid. If such an Email cancellation confirmation has not been received within 24 hours after cancelling (except during weekends and holidays), please send immediatly a cancellation message through normal mail to or give us a call during the Belgian office hours at 32 15 44.62.61
If a cancellation is made directly to the hotel, only a wriiten confirmation from the hotel (Email or fax) or a cancellation confirmation number will prove the cancellation.

5. reservation forms do carry the logo in the left upper corner of the reservation form (see below how it looks like).

6. Our web pages are wriiten with extreme care. We provide you with the information of the individual hotels who have a high degree of accuracy at the time of publishing. If we encounter changes of roomrates or modifications of services, room furniture, etc, will immediatly update the information.
We would appreciate feedback from our users if they are experiencing problems or if the described services are not present or are otherwise than described. can not be held responsible for rate errors and the publication of rates on our pages are solely informative. The hotel rates are the sole property of the individual hotels and always overrule rates shown on our pages.

7. If individual hotels are not honouring reservations made in our system , hotels-europe will trace all communication with the hotel (through our log files) and will decide whether the hotel remains in the system or will be excluded for future reservations.

8. can never be held responsible for problems in the hotel, unpaid bills, unexpected rate rises, etc.

9. will only use the clients details for present and future reservations. Even when the reservation is finished the clients details will remain in our database to facilitate new reservations and to avoid reentering all the clients details over and over again.

10. Although works with the highest degree of accuracy, hotels are sometimes overbooked (in average 1 on 7500 reservations,which is far less of the industry standard). cannot be held responsible if an individual hotel is overbooked or has failed to take note of the correct reservation details. Accordingly no claims will accepted to cover higher costs, overbooked hotels, room changes, hotel changes.
As the reservation confirmation always contains the fax and phone details of the reserved hotel, a client has always the right to call the individual hotel in order to track his reservation and/or to check the reservation details.

11. In case of a dispute, Arakea bvba will only accept the Court of Mechelen, Belgium to mediate.

Reservations made through other systems integrated in

1. In order to offer more accommodation reservation possibilities, works together with a number of selected partners who operate their own independant hotel reservation systems.

2. These  partners do have other reservation and/or sales conditions than those from They can be read in the website pages, availability and/or confirmations.

3. The different providers and hotels are solely responsible for content and reservations. 

4. Always read the reservation and sales conditions carefully.

If the reservation form does not carry the specific reservation system logo (see below), you are in a partner website

The client who reserves a room through or through one of his partners, accepts the reservation conditions and confirms that he/she has read all of the content.
