Area information

Donovaly is located in central Slovakia, 25 km from Banska Bystrica and on the way to Ruzomberok (23 km). The community of Donovaly is spread over a mountain plateau, 990 metres above sea level. An important route joining northern and southern Slovakia runs through the town and it is a sought-after site for summer mountain tourism and winter skiing, both alpine and classic downhill. A novel feature of recent years is the popular European snow dog-team trials.

Hotel policies

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled up to 7 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled later, the first night will be charged.  In case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

No deposit will be charged. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

VAT is included.  Service charge is included.  EUR 0.30 city/tourist tax per person per night is not included. 

Meal Plan

This hotel has no meal services. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 10 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.  All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots.  There is no capacity for extra beds in the room.  Maximum capacity of babycots in a room is 1.
