From Zagreb / Croatia
Exit the motorway in the direction Ljubljana center. Turn left at the Ljubljana sign and drive straight on for approximately 1.5 km. Turn right at the traffic light in the center direction and then left following the main street- “Slovenska cesta”. Follow the sign Hoteli and keep driving straight in direction Railway. Just before the main train station, by the traffic light turn right – you will come to Miklošičeva Street. You’ll come to the Grand hotel Union – Garni Hotel after about 200 meters. It is located on the right side of the Miklošičeva Street.
From Venice (Benetke), Trieste (Trst) / Italy:
Exit the motorway in the direction Ljubljana Zahod (West) and turn right at the first traffic light – you will come to Tržaška Street. Drive straight along Tržaška Street following the sign Ljublana center for approximately 2.5 km. Turn left in the direction Maribor, Kranj and follow the sign Hoteli. Keep driving along “Tivolska cesta” in direction RAILWAY and follow hotel directions. Just before the main train station, by the traffic light turn right – you will come to Miklošičeva Street. You’ll come to the Grand hotel Union – Garni Hotel after about 200 meters. It is located on the right side of the Miklošičeva Street.
From Maribor, Graz / Austria:
Exit the motorway at the direction Ljubljana Center. Turn left at the traffic light with direction Center - you will come to Dunajska Street. Carry on along Dunajska Street for app. 2 km. Follow the sign Hoteli and turn left at the main crossroad, direction railway and bus station. Turn right at the first traffic light (follow the sign Grand hotel Union) – you will come into Miklošičeva Street. Drive straight on for approximately 200 m and you'll come to Grand hotel Union- Garni Hotel, which is located on the right side of the Miklošičeva Street..
From Klagenfurt/Austria and from Airport:
Motorway 639 from Kranj leads directly into Ljubljana. Turn left at traffic light - direction Ljubljana centre - and carry on main road 'Celovska Cesta' for approximately 5.5 km. At the traffic light by the hotel Lev turn left- direction railway. Just before the main train station, by the traffic light turn right – you will come to Miklošičeva Street. You’ll come to the Grand hotel Union – Garni Hotel after about 200 meters. It is located on the right side of the Miklošičeva Street.
