Berggårdens GästgiveriWelcome to The Berggården Inn. The Berggården Inn has been established as a traditional inn for more than 50 years. Situated in the village of Gnarp in the beautiful province of Hälsingland, less than 30 miles from the city of Sundsvall and about 15 miles from Hudiksvall. The Baltic Sea is only about 6 miles away. Interesting facilities in the vicinity are the skiing centre at Hassela, as well as several golf courses.

The Berggarden Inn is a quiet and comfortable guest house situated in the village of Gnarp in the beautiful province of Halsingland, less than 30 miles from the city of Sundsvall and about 15 miles from Hudiksvall. We offer value for money accommodation and home-cooked meals in a peaceful atmosphere. Berggarden Inn has a restaurant and a pub that are open every day. We also have a large dining room that is suitable for small banquets, conferences or parties. Gnarp is a village between Sundsvall and Hudiksvall near the coast in the middle of Sweden. The nearest bus stop is only 100 metres from the guest house. Buses from Stockholm arrive in Gnarp at a bus stop approximately one kilometre from the guest house. The Gnarp Train Station is about 900 metres from the guest house.

Food & Beverages

We offer home-made food in our restful dining rooms. During the summer, we can serve up to 30 guests on our cosy veranda. Our fully licensed pub is open every day and during the evenings, and during weekends we offer an à la carte menu. We also have a large dining room, making Beggården Inn ideal for wedding and anniversary banquets, as well as conferences and parties.

Please note that we accept pets (apart from cats).

Area information

In the area there are possibilities to play golf and fish. Although situated less than a mile away from the European road E4, the Berggården Inn's environment are quiet and calm. There are many activities to enjoy in the surrounding area including the skiing centre at Hassela, several golf courses and during the winter, bob fishing. We can arrange fishing equipment and guides for the 4 lakes near the hotel. It is possible to fish all year round in the River Gnarpsan.

Hotel policies

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled up to 1 day before the date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

No deposit will be charged. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

12 % VAT is included.  Service charge is not applicable.  City/tourist tax is not applicable. 

Meal Plan

Buffet breakfast is included in the room rate. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 3 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.  All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots.  All older children or adults are charged SEK 150.00 per night and person for extra beds.  Maximum capacity of extra beds in a room is 3.  Maximum capacity of babycots in a room is 1.
