Hotel Birger Jarl is both a meeting place and a sanctuary. You can meditate quietly over a cup of hot coffee in the lobby,or meet up in the bar before dinner. Our restaurant serves as a living room where you can eat dinner in peace after a hectic day, or meet business acquaintances for lunch. Once again, the details have been carefully thought out, but the atmosphere remains relaxed and unimposing. Our kitchen offers the finest Swedish produce, and you will be served both classic Swedish dishes in modern form and the best of crossover cuisine. We are also keen to get you off to a good start every day by serving an ample, varied and delicious breakfast buffet.

Travel information From Stockholm Central Station to Hotel Birger Jarl You can walk from Stockholm Central Station to Hotel Birger Jarl in 15-20 minutes, or you can go by taxi or take the tube. There is a taxi rank outside the main entrance of the Central Station, whilst the tube station entrance is on the station’s ground floor. Take the green tube line towards Hässelby, get off at the Rådmansgatan station, take the Tegnérgatan exit and walk approximately 200m down Rådmansgatan before turning left onto Tulegatan, where you’ll find Hotel Birger Jarl on the right hand side. Tube tickets can be bought at the barriers.

Hotel policies

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled up to 1 day before the date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged.

Meal Plan

Buffet breakfast is included in the room rate.

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome. All children under 6 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding. All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots. All children from 7 to 12 years are charged SEK 150.00 per night and person for extra beds. All older children or adults are charged SEK 250.00 per night and person for extra beds. Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1.
