Area information

In winter or summer, the cable cars between Adelboden and Lenk make the region one of the largest and most attractive holiday areas in Switzerland. Adelboden's "mountain of views", the Tschentenalp, is only 7 minutes from the village centre by cabin lift and offers family-friendly skiing, sledging and hiking.

Travel information

Adelboden lies at the heart of the Bernese Oberland at an altitude of 1,350 metres, in the midst of a unique 360-degree panorama. We are only 20 minutes from Lake Thun by car. There is a bus service to Adelboden starting from Frutigen station. In the village itself, the use of the car is unnecessary because of the public transport system. Parking and garage at the hotel.

Hotel policies

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled up to 7 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first two nights will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

No deposit will be charged. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

3.6 % VAT is included.  Service charge is not applicable.  CHF 4.20 city/tourist tax per person per night is included. 

Meal Plan

Buffet breakfast is included in the room rate.  Half board costs CHF 39 per person per night. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 6 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.  All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots.  All older children or adults are charged CHF 45 per night per person for extra beds.  Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1.
