Its 66 rooms have a personal touch, emphasized by a truly attentive service. The Euler Bar is one of the most traditional bars in town and at the same time a meeting point for Basel’s society. The hotel’s Restaurant Le Jardin is a local favourite, especially when dinner is served on its terrace during warm weather months. Due to the perfect location, it is an ideal place for your meetings, conferences and events. The Viennese saloon is the ideal place for congresses for up to 120 participants. The Saloon rouge can accommodate up to 50 people and is suited to medium sized conferences and meetings. For smaller meetings (up to 8 people) there is the General Sutter Suite.

Food & Beverages

The buffet breakfast is served in the restaurant "Le Jardin" from 06:30 till 10:30. Room Service available upon request. We serve a business-lunch from 11:30 till 14:00 and dinner from 18:00 till 22:00. The bar is open daily from 09:00 till midnight. It is a popular bar in Basel and offers a patio to enjoy the warmer weather in summer.

Wired internet is available in the business centre and is free of charge.

Opposite main railway station (SBB), air terminal, trams; Airport shuttle bus around the corner; departure every 20 min. Motorway roads to Switzerland, Germany and France are close by. A print out of the reservation enables you to travel for free by public transport from the EuroAirport and the Basel railway stations. Each guest receives a Mobility Ticket which enables the use of all public transportation in Basel.

Hotel policies

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled up to 1 day before the date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

No deposit will be charged. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

VAT is included.  Service charge is included.  CHF 3.20 city/tourist tax per person per night is not included. 

Meal Plan

Continental breakfast is not included and costs CHF 19.00 per person.  Buffet breakfast is not included and costs CHF 28.00 per person. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 5 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.  All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots.  All older children or adults are charged CHF 70.00 per night and person for extra beds.  Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1.
