Davos combines town and country. At 1560 metres/5100 ft. above sea level, it is the highest town in Europe and the largest resort in the Alpine region, ideal for holidays, sports, health clinics and conventions.
Davos was the meeting point of our World Leaders during the Annual World Economic Forum.
Davos has 200 sites to visit! The botanical garden "Alpinum Schatzalp" boasts 10,000 plants (800 different species) and a garden, where medicinal herbs are grown.
During summer Davos is the starting point for many hikes in a fascinating setting like the Sertig Valley. 9 mountain railways take you to 450 km of hiking trails, as well as picnic and campfire sites. So enjoy the numerous well indicated walking and hiking trails leading to the Prättigau and Klosters region. More than 120 km of these trails can also be used by mountain bikers.
Winter:
Davos means unlimited snow from 1,560 to 2,844 m above sea level!
Davos is one of the largest winter-sports areas in Europe, nestled amid one-of-a-kind mountain scenery. You will enjoy skiing, snowboarding, cross-country skiing, all icing sports, hiking trails and lovely horse sleigh rides.
Summer:
The Davos lake also provides "its guests" with sport like sailing, sail boarding, swimming and fishing.

Arrival by car:
From the North of Switzerland, Vereina or the Flüela pass:
Take the highway N13 and leave at the Landquart exit. Follow Davos via Klosters. Then enter in Davos and follow the Promenade. The hotel is located on the right, 100 metres before the conference center and opposite the congress hotel.
From the Ticino region and Albula:
Take the highway N3, exit Thusis-Süd. Reach Davos via Tiefencastel. Enter Davos and follow the Talstrasse. After the conference center car park, follow the Hertistrasse on the left and cross over the Promenade. The Minotel Lohner is located on the left handside, opposite the congress hotel.
Arrival by train:
The Swiss train company CFF/SBB offers many daily international and regional connections up to Landquart. Please do check before departing.
From Landquart, take the regional train which stops at Davos Dorf or at Davos Platz. Then take one of the buses VDB (Verkehrsbetrieb der Landschaft Davos Gemeinde) and get out at the Post Horlauben bus stop, which is only 10 metres from the hotel, close to the conference centre.
