With the special concept created for people living and travelling alone, the Hotel Eden is ideally located in the bay of Spiez, close to Interlaken, with views of Lake Thun and the Bernese Alps. The hotel was built in 1902 and completely renovated to a superior standard in 2006.

Food & Beverages

We use as often as possible seasonal products, mainly with organic products, to produce light and tasty dishes. Specialties from the region are not missing either to complete our culinary offer. During our special weeks we create the adequate plates. Likewise can our guests enjoy far-east specialties "from east to west" such as Japaneses, Polynesian and Indian meals.

By Car: Coming from the motorway exit towards Spiez, continue in the direction of Zentrum Spiez. - Travelling via the main road, Oberlandstraße, continue until the roundabout at the Berner Kantonalbank (bank). - Here you take a left into Seestraße and continue until you reach the roundabout.

Hotel policies

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled up to 18:00 on the date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

No deposit will be charged. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

3.6 % VAT is included.  Service charge is not applicable.  CHF 2.60 city/tourist tax per person per night is included. 

Meal Plan

Buffet breakfast is included in the room rate. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 6 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.  All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots.  All older children or adults are charged CHF 50 per night per person for extra beds.  Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1.

When booking more than 6 rooms, different policies and additional supplements may apply.
