Area information

The area of Goldiwil is perfect for hiking, biking, walking and or just relaxing. The Thunersee region offers many possibilities for water sports and culture. There are 4 public castles around the lake as well as many museums.

Travel information

By Car: - Take the A6 motorway and exit at Thun Nord. - Follow signs for Thun and at the 3rd roundabout follow signs for Steffisburg. - At the next roundabout follow signs for Goldiwil. - The hotel is situated at the top of the village centre, on the right hand side along the main street. By Public Transport: - From Thun Bahnhof take the STI public bus number 31/32 to Goldiwil.

Hotel policies

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled up to 1 day before the date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled later, the first night will be charged.  In case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

No deposit will be charged. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

3.6 % VAT is included.  Service charge is not applicable.  City/tourist tax is included. 

Meal Plan

Continental breakfast is included in the room rate. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 6 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.  All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots.  All older children or adults are charged CHF 75.00 per night and person for extra beds.  Maximum capacity of extra beds in a room is 3.  Maximum capacity of babycots in a room is 2.
