Area information

Murten is a holiday destination full of charm. The Zähriger town by the lake has plenty to offer with regard to historic places. A very well maintained old town with a walled fortification on which you can walk, a castle, a historical museum and more. Murten is also a very good starting point for trips to Bern, Gruyère, Neuchâtel, Montreux, etc.

Travel information

By train: - From the train station, walk through the historic old town to the Berntor gate. - Walk 100 metres on the Bernstraße, the big road towards the west, and you will find the hotel on your left-hand side.

Hotel policies

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled up to 18:00 on the date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

No deposit will be charged. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

3.6 % VAT is included.  Service charge is not applicable.  CHF 2.15 city/tourist tax per person per night is not included. 

Meal Plan

Buffet breakfast is included in the room rate. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 6 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.  All children under 10 years stay free of charge for extra beds.  There is no capacity for extra beds in the room.  Maximum capacity of babycots in a room is 1.
