The Hotel is situated in the heart of Lucerne, at a charming location on the historical Weinmarkt square right in the midst of the shopping and pedestrian areas.
By Car (from Zurich):
- Take the motorway for Lucerne and follow the green signs for the city.
- Pass through the towns of Adliswil, Langnau and Sihlbrugg and keep going following directions for Lucerne.
- Take the exit marked Luzern Zentrum and go into the right hand lane after exiting the tunnel.
- Turn right (sign says Gütsch) and stay in the right lane.
- At the traffic lights turn right and drive across the bridge marked Geissmattbrücke.
- Just after the bridge turn right and drive through a small tower which is built across the road (St. Karlistrasse).
- Drive along the river until the wooden bridge (left curve in the road, wooden bridge on the right).
- At the wooden bridge turn right (look for brown hotel signs) and you will come to a square with many parked cars (Mühlenplatz). Drive across the square.
- Ignore the no entry signs (you are allowed to drive in as hotel guests) and turn right immediately after the square.
- Take the second road on the left and then onto the Weinmarkt. The Best Western Hotel Krone is right next to the fountain.
