The Hotel Alpha, built in 1903, is located in a central and quiet location. It is famous for its familiar and friendly atmosphere. It has recently renewed the lobby and the rooms. All the rooms are simply furnished but bright and clean. Free parking is available but only on demand because of the limited number of spaces.

From the Train Station : By foot : 10 minutes, follow "Pilatusstrasse" until the Corner "Pilatusstrasse / Zähringerstrasse 24". By bus : Take the Bus No 2 (Emmenbrücke) until "Hallestelle - Pilatusplatz". Follow Pilatusstrasse 66 / Zähringerstrasse 24.

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled up to 16:00 on the date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled later, a fixed amount of CHF 50.00 will be charged.  In case of no-show, the first night will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

No deposit will be charged. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

VAT is included.  Service charge is included.  City/tourist tax is included.

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 6 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.  All children under 16 years are charged CHF 20.00 per night and person for extra beds.  All older children or adults are charged CHF 30.00 per night and person for extra beds.  All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots.  Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1.
