The hotel is located near the river Reuss, in the middle of the historical old town and the traffic free shopping area close to the famous Lucerne Wooden Bridge. The lake, shipterminals, the railway station and the spectacular KKL (Arts & Convention Center) are within walking distance.
Walk over the “Seebrücke”, the main bridge in front of the station (4 lanes), then turn left and follow the Reuss river until you reach the restaurant “Rathaus Brauerei”. From there it’s 10 feet to the hotel Zum Weissen Kreuz.
The hotel is situated in the traffic-free zone of the historical old town of Lucerne. As a hotel guest you are entitled to drive into the traffic-free zone at any time but just for check-in and –out. You have the choice of three ways to find the hotel:
Through Kapellplatz of the lakeside, coming from Ebikon or Küssnacht, then follow the brown hotel-signs.
Passing the city police station coming from the highway. Cross the “Schnyderbrücke” and follow the brown hotelsigns.
Drive through the historical tower, called “Nölliturm” and follow the Reuss river up the square, called “Mühleplatz”. Then again, follow the brown hotel-signs.
