Food & Beverages

Breakfast is served from 7:30 to 10:00 every day. There are a variety of places to enjoy food and refreshment, including the restaurant Seepark, Panorama or Lake terrace. You can admire stunning scenery while enjoying a glass of wine or a delicious meal. Specialties include a variety of different types of Kebab and Fondue. It is advisable to reserve a table at the restaurant. The restaurant is open daily from 10:00 and is closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays in low season. Room service is available between 8:00 and 23:00. There is an extra charge of CHF 5 for room service.

Area information

The hotel is situated beside Lake Thun. Here you can take part in water sports on the lake and hiking on the mountains surrounding it. You can also explore caves close by and take a lake cruise. Thun's town centre is only a 15 minute bus ride away. Here you can visit the old town, castle and market which is held twice a week.

Travel information

By road from all over Switzerland follow directions to Thun - Interlaken. From Thun take the main road toward Oberhofen - Gunten. From Interlaken take the main road toward Sundlauenen - Gunten. The hotel has got a private car park. (CHF 8,--) . It is possible to hire a garage but it should be booked in advance. The supplement for the garage hire is CHF 8 per day. The nearest railway station is in Thun. It takes about 20 minutes by bus number 21 (public transport) to reach the hotel. Airports: Belp (Bern), Kloten (Zürich) or Genf To reach the hotel take the train to Thun and then change to the public bus number 21. Belp: 30 km away form the hotel Kloten: 161 km away from the hotel Genf: 196 km away from the hotel

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled up to 2 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled later, the first night will be charged.  In case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged.

No deposit will be charged.

Buffet breakfast is included in the room rate. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 8 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.  All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots.  All older children or adults are charged CHF 52.00 per night and person for extra beds.  Maximum capacity of extra beds in a room is 1.  Maximum capacity of babycots in a room is 2.
