There are 2 historical places of interest near Yesil Vadi, to which guided tours can be offered. The first is Termessos National Park, which is the biggest of its kind in the country offering archaeological finds amid varied wildlife and beautiful landscape. The Taurus Mountains are complemented by reefs and pine forests. The second is Karain Cave (12 km), where continuing archaeological digs have revealed a 50,000 year old settlement.
For something closer to hand, the nearby village offers a chance to sample traditional rural life in Turkey, as you watch the local specialities of olive oil and carpets being made by hand.
By Car (from Central Antalya, 15 km):
- Take the E-87 / D-350 road towards Korkuteli.
- Yesil Vadi can be found as you approach Termessos, only 300 metres from the main road.
