In the area are: Snape Maltings concert hall, walking trails and RSPB and National Trust reserves. Tennis at the Country Club and golf on the established James Braid course can be arranged at nearby Thorpeness.

Food & Beverages

The restaurant offers elegant, informal dining. Local seafood dishes are a speciality, together with traditional Sunday roast lunches. Vegetarian dishes are available as are special dietary dishes by prior arrangement. It is open to residents and non-residents for morning coffee, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner. Dress code: smart-casual. For a lighter bite, try the bar, where there is a wide range of specially selected wines from local brewers, Adnams. Dress code: smart-casual (no shorts). During the Aldeburgh Festival and the August proms at Snape Maltings, the hotel can provide pre-concert meals or late suppers. Delicious picnic hampers can also be arranged during the August proms.

During the last weekend in November, and every weekend in December, the restaurant will be closed due to functions and dinner will not be available at the hotel. The hotel hosts wedding receptions and private functions throughout the year, which may cause some disruption to services. Please contact the hotel if you would like further information.

If cancelled up to 2 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged.

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 12 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.  All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots.  There is no capacity for extra beds in the room.  Maximum capacity of babycots in a room is 1.
