Half Moon Hotel And RestaurantThe Half Moon Hotel and Restaurant has been in the same family for nearly 40 years. A listed building with a history going back some 400 years, in a lively social centre. All of the recently refurbished hotel en-suite rooms are non-smoking. Some of the accommodation is on ground floor level, with access for the disabled. The full a la carte restaurant seats 50 people and is non- smoking for the comfort of our guests. A cosmopolitan and varied menu suits all tastes including vegetarians. An extensive wine list compliments the menu and there is also a wide selection of real ales to suit all tastes. We at the Half Moon use the best quality produce available to us. Private functions catered for.

Hotel policies

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled up to 1 day before the date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled later or in case of no-show, 50 percent of all nights will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

No deposit will be charged. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

17.5 % VAT is included.  Service charge is not applicable.  City/tourist tax is not applicable. 

Meal Plan

Full English breakfast is included in the room rate. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 2 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.  All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots.  All children from 3 to 14 years are charged GBP 20 per night per person for extra beds.  All older children or adults are charged GBP 45 per night per person for extra beds.  Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 2.
