Birmingham Botanical Gardens (1.6 km / 1 mile) - first opened in 1832, the gardens now encompass 15 acres of rare and varied plant-life. By car: From the M5: - Exit the M5 at junction 3 for Birmingham. - This will bring you onto Hagley Road West (the A456). - Continue on, passing the rear of Woodbourne Priory Hospital on your right. - Keep a look out for the hotel just after you pass St Augustine's Road.
